Serralunga d'Alba

The small village of Serralunga is gathered around its castle which rises from the top of the hill.

The imposing medieval castle dominates the surrounding landscape and its characteristic profile draws the eye from afar.

For many centuries the castle has controlled the territory that surrounds it and has observed and protected the work of man in the vineyards.

The orderly and luxuriant vineyards, from which Barolo wine is born, create the unmistakable landscape that UNESCO, in 2014, wanted to include in the list of world heritage.

To experience the prestigious wines that are born from these beautiful vineyards, visit the numerous wineries and wine bars of Serralunga d’Alba but do not forget the excellent restaurants where you can taste the excellent food and wine combinations of the Langhe

Castiglione Falletto

Just in front of Serralunga here, at the top of another hill, is Castiglione Falletto with its castle with its characteristic round tower.

Here too the vineyards surround the village and the area is dotted with wineries that produce excellent Barolo wines.

Climbing a few hills you arrive at Barolo, the small town from which the most prestigious of wines takes its name.

Here, in the cellars of the castle, Barolo was born.

The whole life of Barolo revolves around wine, its history, its economy, with its exceptional vineyards, the renowned wineries, the restaurants, the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo and its wine museum.
